Accounting Coordinator

Fennemore has an excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Accounting Coordinator to join our Phoenix office. The Accounting Coordinator supports the accounting team with maintaining accounts receivable files and records, and is responsible for daily processing, verifying, investigating and posting payment applications to invoices.  This team member effectively works with clients, attorneys and staff to resolve issues while providing excellent customer service.  This on-site, Monday-Friday, role is suited for a person who is reliable and accurate, a productive self-starter, intelligent, and resourceful.

Responsibilities:

  • Opens daily checks from clients, both physical and electronic;
  • Scans, researches, and post client payments in 3E;
  • Researches and responds to high volume of email and phone inquiries from clients, attorneys and/or staff;
  • Overtime may be required during periods of high workload, flexibility in daily work schedule is required;

·       Adheres to departmental/Firm goals and policies; and

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of related accounts receivable experience in professional services environment;
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office programs, especially Excel;
  • Self-directed individual with strong organizational skills, highly detail-oriented, and a strong sense of urgency;
  • Comfortable performing repetitive and detail-oriented tasks;
  • Desire to learn more about accounting department and cross train with other members of the team; and
  • Self-directed, daily sense of urgency, organized and highly detail-oriented;
  • Elite Enterprise experience, or other legal accounting software, preferred; and
  • High School Diploma required.

Salary:          $48,000.00 – $53,000.00 per year
