BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Fennemore is seeking a full-time BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST to support its Business Development & Marketing Department in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing a network of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Membership coordination and sponsorship collaboration;
  • Helping the firm nurture leads and develop client relationships;
  • External and internal communications;
  • Attending community events;
  • Creating a global roadmap of the firm’s corporate philanthropic activities and community involvement.
  • Engage targets and key clients in strategic events and communications as well as help identify relevant topics for prospects;
  • Assist with implementation, tracking and measurement of business development actions and CRM;
  • Manage research of market and industry trends, as well as evaluate and analyze competitive intelligence to identify new business opportunities and expand on existing relationships; and
  • Promote cross-office and practice group communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree requirement;
  • 3+ years’ of experience in business development or corporate responsibility; and
  • Ability to travel to other offices estimated at 20% per year.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in the common collection of Microsoft Office software;
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software;
  • Social media;
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity;
  • Effective research strategies;
  • Experience with reporting and analytics;
  • Effective time management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on a deadline;
  • Ability to manage end-to-end internal communication plans, tactics, and outcomes, including the frequency and channels of communication;
  • Effective coordination across multiple firm practice groups and areas of business; and
  • Ability to develop and execute creative strategies for communicating internally and to community stakeholders, taking into account the needs of different audiences.

Salary: $73,000 – $78,000/per year
