Sean Berens is an attorney in our real estate practice group, where he handles transactions representing both large and small developers, lenders, special servicers, hospitality entities, private equity groups and other similar parties in the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of real estate assets. Sean also has significant experience with the acquisition and development of renewable energy assets and commercial leasing.
Sean was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After studying at the University of Southern California, and then Columbia Law School, and a short time practicing in New York, he returned to his roots in Arizona.
Sean solves complex problems for his clients during all phases of a project. He enjoys the collaborative aspects of transactions and working to complete projects that tangibly improve his home town.
Active in his community, Sean is a founding board member of the Phoenix Legal Action Network, which seeks to expand pro bono immigration representation for low-income Phoenicians. As a lover of Arizona’s great outdoors, you will often find Sean running on the trails of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve.
