George T. Cole

George practices in the areas of real estate acquisition and development, with emphasis on planned communities, resort and golf-oriented projects. His work includes purchase and sale agreements, condominium declarations, fractional interest programs, and declarations of covenants, conditions and restrictions, also membership plans for golf and other recreational projects.

George's father was a lawyer and he was attracted to the idea of a career where problem solving and negotiation would be essential and decided to follow in his father's footsteps. Today, George enjoys partnering with his clients, many of whom are working on entrepreneurial ventures, and assists clients through large projects.

When out of the office, George enjoys reading and traveling.

Our real estate law practice is one of the largest in the Mountain West and Central California.

Representative Transactions

  • Represented the developer of an Arizona destination resort in the acquisition of the resort lodge and surrounding property, negotiations with National Forest Service, subdivision and sale of resort lots, and creation of a fractional interest resort cabin program.
  • Represented the developer of an 800 acre mixed use community, including 27-hole golf course, 4-star hotel, 30 acre main street retail center, mixed use condominium and both residential and commercial land sales.
  • Represented the developer of a golf resort project in Sedona, Arizona, including championship golf course and club, residential lot sales, and a fractional interest condominium villa program.
  • Represented the developer of 8000 acre golf community, including 6 golf courses, 5 clubhouses, residential lot sales, and 2600-member club program.
