An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered; an adventure is an inconvenience rightly considered.

Keith J. Miller

Keith Miller is an associate for our Phoenix office’s business litigation practice group where his practice covers a broad range of case matters. With prior experience working with the Office of the Arizona Attorney General, where he worked in the Environmental Enforcement Section, he’s knowledgeable in the areas of Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) compliance, working as an outside general counsel, and even pursuing Constitutional challenges to federal rule-makings. Keith is also well known in the public policy arena, crafting comment letters, appellate briefs, and compelling written product for clients.

A self-confessed “nerd,” who loves all things involving reading and writing – and fresh, new ideas – Keith was a math major at Hillsdale College, which made the logical portion of the dreaded LSAT exam a piece of cake. He went on to earn his J.D. from Columbia and worked in Washington D.C. But his deep ties to Arizona – his grandfather was a lifelong resident of Cochise County, and his wife’s family has been in the area for generations – led him to the southwest. His first legal job in the state was a clerkship for U.S. District Court Judge James A. Teilborg. Today, he still loves solving complex problems, and acting as an expert on behalf of his clients.

Blessed with four young children, Keith and his bride enjoy a hectic life in Gilbert, AZ full of swimming, soccer games, and--with three boys in the mix--lots of rocks from hiking and exploring the wonders of the outdoors.
