Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Megan E. Tobin

Megan Tobin is an associate in our Phoenix office who works in our Business Litigation practice group. Her experience includes drafting legal documents, including motions and research memoranda concerning commercial litigation and employment disputes in Arizona and California state and federal district courts.

Born and raised in Chicago, like many Midwesterners, Megan and her family eventually moved to the Valley of the Sun after many spring break visits over the years. Still a passionate Cubs fan, Megan is proud to say she attended game 5 of the 2016 World Series, the one and only World Series game that the Cubs won that year at Wrigley. In true Ferris Bueller fashion, she skipped class the following Friday to attend the World Series parade.

Megan was a summer associate at the firm in 2022, and during law school she represented children in Pima County in family and juvenile courts, primarily in child custody and domestic violence matters. The stark realities of these experiences sharpened Megan’s desire to be an advocate for others, even if they had a “voice” that was seldom heard. In her practice, she enjoys the variety of work, and getting to know her clients personally – living vicariously through their businesses.

Outside of the office, Megan unwinds by hiking and traveling. Some of her most recent adventures include visits to South Africa and Australia. She remains a passionate advocate for promoting domestic violence awareness.
