There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.

Overview

Carah Woodside is a paralegal who has worked in civil litigation for most of her career, but she is now learning the land use side of things in order to work as a project manager.

She got into the legal field following her mother, who is in the same profession. Early on, Carah loved learning and mastering the litigation process as a whole, and the personal satisfaction gained from the challenge of meeting the many deadlines. Now, she is excited to be acquiring new skills in order to further her career.

Outside of work, Carah spends time in her garden whenever possible. She likes seeking out exotic varieties of tomatoes and peppers, and growing them from seed. She also enjoys hiking, podcasts, and the beach. Carah loves to learn and read, but she seeks out education mainly through hands-on experience. She feels it is the best way to discover whether oneself has the passion for the job they are doing and should continue doing it.
