Ian L. M. Durdle

Ian Durdle is an attorney at Fennemore with a practice focused on estate litigation, business litigation, and real estate. Ian enjoys putting in the time to get to know his clients and their stories, which he has found to be the key to generating inventive solutions that meet his clients’ needs and unlocking successful results in their cases.

Before joining Fennemore, Ian worked as a civil litigator, where he represented a wide variety of clients on matters from the pre-litigation phase through their resolution via settlement negotiations, mediation, or trial. Ian has firsthand experience in multiple areas of law, including easement disputes, employment tort claims, breaches of contract, cannabis regulations, public agency compliance, and landlord-tenant disagreements.

Ian attended both undergraduate and law school at the University of California, Davis. While in law school, he was President of the King Hall Negotiations Team, competing in numerous ABA-sponsored national competitions. As a Bay Area native, Ian is proud to be a stalwart San Francisco 49ers fan, though his time in the Central Valley did convert him to a loyal Sacramento Kings fan as well. In his free time, Ian is an avid board game enthusiast and loves tackling escape rooms. He lives in Santa Barbara with his partner and their German Shepherds, Uni (for university) and Cali (for California).
