Zack Wasserman Named “Real Estate Law Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal

Wendel Rosen LLP, the largest law firm in the East Bay representing businesses throughout the state, congratulates Land Use and Real Estate Partner R. Zachary Wasserman for his selection to The National Law Journal’s inaugural “Real Estate Law Trailblazers” awards.

The National Law Journal “Trailblazer” awards recognize legal professionals who are making significant achievements on the legal practice or policy and technological advancements in their industry. This is the first year for the “Real Estate Law Trailblazer” award.

“The continued growth and development of Oakland and the Greater Bay Area is revitalizing the region, and I am proud to have played a role in the region’s development,” said Wasserman. “This recognition is a byproduct of our firm’s accomplishments in the region, and I am honored included on this list.”

In his legal practice, Wasserman focuses on transportation issues, real estate and land use, and nonprofit organizations. He negotiates and drafts complex real estate and financial structures on behalf of private businesses and public agencies and works with state and local regulatory permitting agencies to carry out high-profile Bay Area real estate projects. He is currently chair of the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission and the Oakland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Wasserman received his J.D. from Stanford University School of Law (1972) and his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1969).
