Colten Ballinger

Colten D. Ballinger is an attorney in Fennemore’s Business & Finance practice group. He assists agribusinesses, lenders, public & private entities, and individuals with tax law (international & domestic), estate planning, complex financial transactions, and multi-national transfer pricing. He also has experience in syndicated lending and credit agreements, transactional law and contract drafting, entity formation and compliance, and legal risk management.

Colten is known for delivering strategic legal counsel across public and private sectors, with successful outcomes in high-value matters including defense of multimillion-dollar tax disputes and structuring syndicated financing deals. Prior to joining Fennemore, Colten worked at a Central Valley-based firm, where he counseled numerous businesses and lenders through secured lending transactions, entity formations, common interest developments, and contract negotiations. His past experience includes successfully disputing $6 million tax liability imposed by the Franchise Tax Board, and closing a $100M syndicated credit agreement for a multinational agricultural corporation.
