Emily Robinette
Emily Robinette is a Phoenix-based bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and insolvency associate at Fennemore. She assists businesses, creditors, and other interested parties with legal matters involving Chapter 11 bankruptcy, commercial insolvency, creditor claims, restructuring, and related business disputes. Her background in accounting and finance supports her ability to analyze complex financial issues and help clients make informed decisions during financially challenging circumstances.
Before joining Fennemore, Emily served as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel Collins of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona. In that role, she researched and analyzed legal issues, prepared summaries concerning court hearings and applicable law, and observed trials, oral arguments, and other bankruptcy proceedings. She previously worked with Fennemore as a summer associate, where she handled matters involving real estate, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and legal ethics.
Emily earned her J.D. from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she was an O’Connor Merit Scholar and Pedrick Honors Scholar, served as executive managing editor of the Corporate Law and Business Journal, and participated in the Indian Legal Program. She earned B.S. degrees in accounting and finance, cum laude, from the University of Wyoming.
In her free time, Emily enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and volunteering.
