Raman Mahal

Raman Mahal is an attorney in Fennemore’s Business & Finance practice group. She represents clients in both state and federal courts.

Raman brings extensive experience in litigation and client advocacy. Prior to joining Fennemore, she practiced as an associate attorney at Pino & Associates, where she handled all aspects of litigation from discovery through trial preparation. Her background includes preparing motions, conducting legal research and analysis, drafting settlement agreements, and representing clients in court proceedings.

Her earlier legal experience includes serving as a Volunteer Deputy District Attorney with the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted criminal cases and represented the State of California in arraignments, jury trials, pre-trial hearings, and motion practice.

Raman also interned with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts and worked with the University of Miami School of Law Immigration Clinic, advocating for immigrants in detention.

Prior to beginning her legal career, Raman, along with her husband, established Mahal Dental Group, where she was involved in business set up and managing the administration of the business, including but not limited to employee transition, marketing, patient relationships, and handling employment claims.

Raman earned her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was active in pro bono work and student leadership organizations, through the South Asian Law Student Association and mentoring with several youth-focused community programs.

She also holds an M.B.A. in Human Resources from ICFAI University in Dehradun, India, and a Bachelor of Arts from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India.
