Steven Fisher

Steven Fisher is an attorney at Fennemore who represents businesses, business owners, and individuals in complex litigation and dispute resolution throughout Idaho and Oregon. With experience spanning government service, private practice, firm leadership, and entrepreneurship, he provides clients with practical legal counsel and strategic advocacy tailored to their business and litigation objectives.

Over the course of his career, Steven has represented clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, successfully guiding them through every stage of the dispute process—from pre-litigation strategy and negotiation to mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal. His diverse legal background enables him to evaluate disputes from multiple perspectives and develop practical, cost-effective solutions that align with each client’s goals.

Steven began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Baker County, Oregon, where he prosecuted numerous criminal cases before judges and juries, building extensive courtroom and trial experience. He later transitioned to private practice, where he became a partner in a boutique law firm, operated his own law practice as an entrepreneur, and ultimately led litigation efforts in Idaho for a multi-state law firm. These experiences have given him a unique understanding of both the legal and business challenges his clients face.

Throughout his career, Steven has represented individuals and small businesses across Idaho and Oregon in a wide variety of matters. He has appeared before trial courts throughout both states, participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations, and argued cases before the Idaho Court of Appeals and the Idaho Supreme Court. His extensive litigation experience allows him to confidently advocate for clients while remaining focused on achieving efficient and practical resolutions whenever possible.

Originally from Oregon, Steven has lived in the Boise-Meridian area since 2008. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and extended family, serving in his community and church, traveling, and lifelong learning and development.
