K. Denise Simonson

Denise Simonson is a Trusts and Estates paralegal in Fennemore’s Fresno office. She assists clients with preparing essential documents and the administration of trusts and estates.

Denise began her career in trusts and estates as a summer job in high school, working for an esteemed attorney shortly after he began practicing law. What started as a temporary position became an over 30-year career where she developed a strong understanding of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. Denise enjoys the detail-oriented nature of the practice and the opportunity to help clients navigate important life transitions.

Because of her experience at a small firm, Denise is well-versed in nearly every aspect of office operations, including document preparation, client communication, billing, accounts payable and receivable, notary appointments, and training new employees. That broad experience has given her a practical, well-rounded perspective and a deep appreciation for the many moving parts involved in serving clients well.

Outside of the office, Denise can be found spending time with her husband of 30 years and her children. She loves traveling, going to the beach, doing some Jeep off-roading, and exploring. She is a self-proclaimed “yes person” and will say yes to new experiences as much as possible.
