Laurel Dinkins

Laurel Leigh Dinkins is a dedicated paralegal who focuses on bankruptcy, financial restructuring, and business litigation matters. Raised in a family deeply entrenched in the legal profession, with both parents practicing law and a stepmom working as a paralegal, Laurel spent many afternoons and summers at their offices. Despite her early exposure to law, she decided to pursued a degree in elementary education, and for a brief time, she taught in Spain as a native English teacher to fourth and fifth graders.

Upon returning from Spain, Laurel’s career path took a definitive turn when she decided to join the law firm Sullivan Hill and manage their file room; there, she was encouraged to enroll in paralegal school. With the support of her family and her now-husband, she completed the nights and weekends program at the University of San Diego. Following her graduation, she transitioned into the bankruptcy department at Sullivan Hill as a paralegal.

Outside of work, Laurel enjoys cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. She is also an avid fan of indoor cycling, whether at the gym or on her Peloton, and loves spending time outdoors with her family and pets.
