Seasoned Trial Attorney Richard Sipos Joins Wendel Rosen LLP
Today, Richard Sipos, Esq. joins Wendel Rosen LLP as a partner, serving in the Litigation Practice Group.
Sipos brings 34 years of experience in complex litigation and transactional real estate and business with a practice focusing on leasing, sales, disability access and hazardous materials contamination. Sipos has successfully tried jury and bench construction cases involving hotels, schools and prisons, as well as business cases including legal malpractice, securities fraud and partnership disputes.
“Richard is a very accomplished trial attorney with a remarkable record of winning every bench and jury trial he ever handled,” said Wendel’s Managing Partner Dan Rapaport. “He has long-standing relationships with attorneys here at Wendel Rosen, and it is a privilege to have him as a partner.”
Additionally, Sipos served 20+ years as a director and chairman of the board for an industrial developer and short-line railroad. He now serves on the board of a breakthrough medical therapeutics organization. Sipos is a member of the Ninth Circuit and various U.S. District Courts, as well as the State Bar of California and Contra Costa County Bar Association. He has been named in the Super Lawyers list every year since 2011 and holds numerous designations and honors.
Sipos received his BA from UCLA in 1983, his JD from Santa Clara University in 1986 and completed advanced studies in Comparative Law at Magdalen College in Oxford.
