Due Diligence Boot Camp: Title Survey and Environmental Issues

Wendel Rosen attorney Greggory Brandt has been invited to present at NRTA’s 2015 Annual Conference, “Educating to Improve Profitability,” at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

Gregg’s course will stress the importance of a title examination as a necessary component of the due diligence process that a tenant should conduct before executing the lease.

Topics include:

  • Liens or encumbrances which may be filed against the leased premises
  • The importance of the Subordination, Non-Disturbance and Attornment Agreements (SNDAs)
  • Potential environmental issues which could prohibit or inhibit the tenant’s use of the leased premises;
  • The need for a Phase I, and possibly a Phase II Environmental Review
