Fennemore and Gallagher & Kennedy To Combine, Creating One Of Arizona’s Largest Business Law Firms
Two Arizona-founded firms will join forces on Dec. 1 in a landmark combination
PHOENIX, AZ (September 9, 2026) — Fennemore, one of the nation’s fastest-growing Am Law 200 firms, and Gallagher & Kennedy (G&K), an Arizona-based business law firm with decades of experience serving businesses, organizations and individuals throughout Arizona and New Mexico, will merge effective Dec. 1, 2026.
The combination will bring together two firms with deep roots in Phoenix and longstanding relationships with the businesses, industries and communities that have helped shape Arizona. Together, and operating under the Fennemore name, the firm will have nearly 300 lawyers and legal professionals in Phoenix and more than 800 across the firm.
For clients, the combination will mean access to a broader bench of lawyers and legal services, including Fennemore’s proprietary technology and innovation through Project BlueWave AI. G&K will bring established relationships and significant experience in natural resources, environmental, water, litigation and business law, as well as an established New Mexico presence through its Santa Fe office.
Together, Fennemore and Gallagher & Kennedy will create one of the most significant combinations in Phoenix’s legal market in years, laying the foundation for the future of legal service across the West and beyond.
