Alyannah Buhman

Alyannah A. Buhman is an associate attorney in Fennemore’s Phoenix office. She assists clients with complex business litigation matters.

Alyannah started her Fennemore journey as a summer associate, where she drafted interrogatories, prepared deposition summaries, and assisted associates in pre-trial matters. Prior to joining Fennemore, Alyannah gained valuable experience in family law, business litigation, employment law, and insurance coverage as a law clerk at a local firm. She also assisted firm attorneys in pre-trial litigation and appellate matters by drafting dispositive motions and appellate briefs.

Alyannah earned her law degree from Arizona State University where she was actively involved in her community through various organizations. Alyannah was the fundraising chair of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA), a student ambassador, and an associate editor for the Law Journal for Social Justice (LJSJ).

Following graduation, Alyannah clerked at the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. There, she drafted judicial opinions addressing dispositive motions, procedural issues, and evidentiary disputes, and synthesized extensive briefing to identify controlling legal issues.

Alyannah loves to volunteer in her free time. Through the Pilgrim Rest Advocacy Ministry, she provides free legal advice during a monthly consultation clinic under the supervision of attorneys from the Arizona Black Bar Association. Alyannah also co-created a free professional clothing closet to support all ASU Law students and administrative support staff in their professional and personal development.
