Jeff R. Sykes

Jeff R. Sykes is a trial attorney at Fennemore who represents businesses, employers, developers, property owners, and individuals in real estate and business litigation and employment matters.

As an experienced commercial litigator, Jeff represents clients in disputes involving fraud, breach of contract, breach of warranty, construction claims, insurance issues and other business litigation. He also handles real estate litigation, including title disputes, easement and access issues, boundary disputes, and other property-related conflicts. Whether negotiating a resolution or preparing for trial, Jeff develops litigation strategies that align with each client’s goals and the realities of doing business.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico, and his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law. He served as a law clerk at the Idaho Supreme Court from 1993-1994 for Justice Linda Copple Trout.  He has lived in Boise since 1993.

Outside the office, Jeff enjoys traveling with his family, golfing, and attending Boise State sporting events. In the past, he has worked with the Treasure Valley YMCA Youth Government program and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Recently he served as President of Hillcrest Country Club in Boise.
