Kelly Danker

Kelly Danker is an associate attorney in Fennemore’s Business Litigation practice group. She represents businesses through every stage of litigation, helping them resolve complex disputes efficiently while protecting their legal and business interests.

Kelly has experience managing a diverse litigation docket involving breach of contract claims, fraud, premises liability, negligence, commercial property disputes, nuisance, trespass, declaratory and injunctive relief, and statutory claims under California law. She works closely with clients to develop practical litigation strategies tailored to their objectives, whether pursuing an early resolution or preparing a case for trial.

Her litigation experience spans every phase of the dispute process, including legal research and analysis, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, and appeals. Kelly has drafted and argued a wide range of dispositive and procedural motions, coordinated with expert witnesses, participated in court hearings, mediations, and bench trials, and served as second chair in a jury trial, where she obtained a defense verdict for the client.

Before entering private practice, Kelly served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Barry Ted Moskowitz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, where she assisted with federal litigation matters involving complex procedural and substantive legal issues. She also gained experience with multiple California district attorneys’ offices, providing her with a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and courtroom procedure.

In her spare time, Kelly can be found camping, biking, hiking, attending music festivals, and listening to audiobooks.
