Paul W. Jordan

Paul Jordan helps businesses, commercial property owners, and property management professionals navigate business, contract, real property, and commercial leasing disputes. He understands the importance of understanding client goals and tailoring the strategy for the best resolution. In the event an issue cannot be resolved through preliminary negotiations, Paul has significant experience advocating for clients through mediation, arbitration, litigation, hearings, trial, and appeals.

From 2010 to 2012, Paul served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural El Salvador, focusing on health education and community development. In his spare time, Paul enjoys traveling, trying a new brew (beer or coffee), and enjoying all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer with his wife and dog, Lu.

  • Numerous awards of possession of commercial property and damages in favor of landlord after breach of commercial lease by tenant.
  • Complete defense verdict, plus award of attorney fees and costs, for commercial landlord after trial on dispute related to interpretation of maintenance requirements under lease.
  • Successful defense of property owner against a mechanic’s lien.
  • Dismissal of tenant counterclaims against landlord in commercial leasing action.
  • Obtained court judgment declaring lien against homeowner spurious and invalid with an award of attorney fees and costs.
  • Obtained dismissal in action against insurer on claims of breach of contract, bad faith, and unreasonable delay and denial of claim.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of insurer on claims of breach of contract and bad faith.
  • Obtained directed verdict at trial and defended the judgment on appeal.
