Firm Named to Sixth Annual “Best Law Firms” List
OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 11, 2015 – Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP announces that the firm has been named to the sixth annual “Best Law Firms” list published by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers. The firm’s Litigation – Real Estate practice moved from a Tier 2 ranking to Metropolitan Tier 1, joining the Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law, Construction Law and Real Estate Law practices. Additionally, Wendel Rosen’s Land Use & Zoning Law practice was awarded a Metropolitan Tier 2 ranking.
Firms included in the 2016 “Best Law Firms” list are recognized for professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. Achieving a “First-Tier” ranking signifies a quality law practice and breadth of legal experience and knowledge. For the 2016 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, 6.7 million votes were analyzed, which resulted in more than 55,000 leading lawyers being included. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed; therefore inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
In addition to Wendel Rosen’s “Best Law Firms” rankings, ten of the firm’s attorneys were recently named to the 2016 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, including five who made their inaugural appearance on the list. Among the honorees, Name Partner Michael Dean celebrated his 33rd year on the list, marking an appearance every year since its inception in 1983.
