
Aniesa Rice Ballinger
Aniesa Rice Ballinger works in Fennemore’s trusts and estates practice group. In her practice, she enjoys navigating complex estate planning for her clients, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable with their estate plans.
Aniesa’s priority is helping her clients feel secure in their plans for the future, and she aims to support them through each step of the estate planning process. She works with clients on estate planning portfolios, drafting and implementing changes to their estate planning documents, drafting operating agreements and partnership agreements, and assisting with post-death trust administration.
Aniesa’s legal journey includes serving as an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, a volunteer attorney at the Los Angeles County Domestic Violence Project, and a Summer Law Clerk in the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney. Aniesa attended Loyola Law School where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Ranked 8th in her class, she was also an Articles Editor for the Loyola Law School Law Review. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University. Aniesa also holds a multi-subject California teaching credential and has worked as an elementary school librarian.
Outside her legal career, as a mother of two sons, Aniesa spends her weekends on the sidelines of countless soccer and lacrosse matches. She also enjoys hiking, running, yoga, and reading her way through endless piles of books.
