Connor Edlund
Connor Edlund is an attorney at Fennemore whose practice focuses on construction law and commercial construction matters. Drawing on years of firsthand experience managing complex construction projects, Connor helps contractors, developers, owners, and other construction industry clients navigate the legal and business challenges that arise throughout the lifecycle of a project—from contract negotiation and project execution to dispute resolution.
Before becoming an attorney, Connor earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Management, with a minor in Business Administration, from Oregon State University and worked for two large heavy civil general contractors. His experience as a field engineer, estimator, and project manager on large-scale infrastructure and heavy civil construction projects across Idaho and the western United States gives him a practical understanding of the technical, operational, and financial realities facing construction professionals. This industry perspective allows him to provide clients with legal advice that is grounded in the day-to-day demands of construction projects.
Connor earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Idaho College of Law with an emphasis in Business Law and Entrepreneurship. During law school, he served as a member of the Idaho Law Review, received multiple Excellence for the Future Awards, and provided pro bono legal services through the Idaho Wildlife Federation. While pursuing his legal education, he continued working for a general contractor, further strengthening his understanding of the construction industry’s legal and operational challenges.
Connor’s combination of construction management experience and legal training enables him to understand projects from both the jobsite and the courtroom. Clients value his ability to communicate effectively with project teams, identify practical solutions, and help minimize risk while supporting successful project outcomes.
